LIFE IS LIKE AN EVENING AT BEACH

Yesterday evening (25th) we as family were at Mondaicaud Beach on Christmas. A thought came to me about life.

LIFE IS LIKE AN EVENING AT BEACH

We all won't like to spend a hot noon at seashore. Obviously we all wait till 3, 3.30 or 4 based on the climate/ season. Then we slowly near the beach. Immediately we won't go near tides. We observe for sometime and then go near to it and slowly we near without fear. By the time it becomes 6, 6.30. We all enjoy at peak. We even take snaps of 'setting sun' with red and soft rays even not realising that actually that is going to be the end. We all feel that we could have come earlier or plan to come on another day.

For a newborn child it takea some years to become a man. Like waiting for an appropriate hour to go to beach, he has to grow, get eduated, get exposed/ matured to start his own life. May be by 20 yrs or 30 based his eduaction or economical factors. Slowly he picks up his life like earning and other things slowly to get a stability or hold or popularity. By the time he reaches 50 or 60 , when he looks back, he feels proud of his life, about his achievements, family, children, their career, his earnings, investments and wealth and so on. He enjoys life rarely thinking about his end is nearing. Then by a sudden heartattack (physical illlness) or a chronic mindattack (phycological illness - anxiety & depression), he rapidly loose hpe in life. He feels much about 'life' mainly regretting for the things not done and sometimes for the things done which should not have been done. But it is too late that there IS an end.

What Bible says:
1) ....as a flower of the field he will pass away (James 1:10)

2) All people are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field; the grass withers and the flowers fall. (1 Peter 1:24)

3) Man who is born of woman is of few days and full of trouble (Job 14:1)

4) Our days may come to seventy years, or eighty, if our strength endures;
yet the best of them are but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away. (Psalms 90:10).

This is what I like end my thought:
Rejoice, O young man, in your youth,
And let your heart cheer you in the days of your youth;
Walk in the ways of your heart,
And in the sight of your eyes;
But know that for all these
God will bring you into judgment. (Eccl. 11:9)

Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter:
Fear God and keep His commandments,
For this is man’s all.
For God will bring every work into judgment,
Including every secret thing,
Whether good or evil (Eccl. 12:13,14).
